Management reporting and monitoring for business owners

You should not have to open every system to find out what needs attention. We agree the numbers, connect the sources, and send you a brief: what moved, what is overdue, what needs a decision.

Discuss your reporting

Who this is for

  • Sales, operations and finance bring different spreadsheets.
  • The same measure means different things to different people.
  • You hear about a missed target after the chance to act has passed.
  • Decisions from the last meeting have no recorded status.

What we do

Start from the decisions. Which decisions should the report support? From that, a short list of measures: pipeline, overdue receivables, delivery deadlines, whatever your business runs on.

Define each number once. Definition, source, period, who updates it. Your team confirms the inputs. Missing or unreconciled data stays visible rather than papered over.

Connect the sources and set the checks. CRM, task system, accounting exports: whatever you approve, read-only where possible. Each check has a rule: a deal with no next step, a payment overdue, a measure outside its range, a decision with no update.

Send the owner’s brief. AI drafts the brief from the checks; a person reviews it before it reaches you. Each flag links to its record and shows the data period. Flags go to the person you designate for action.

How it starts

Owner’s review, three working days. Send the reports your team prepares today and tell us where the inputs live. You get back one page: which questions your data can already answer, where the gaps are, what the first brief would contain.

Month one. We define the measures, connect the agreed sources and deliver the first briefs. You compare the flags with what your team knows, including false alarms and misses. Month one is the only commitment.

From month two. The brief continues on the agreed schedule. Checks are revised when your sources or rules change. Pricing on the call.

What it is built on

This is the system we run for our own companies: agreed checks over live data, a brief that lands before the week starts, flags that point to the record. On the call we show one week’s brief from one of them.

Scope

Your team stays responsible for the records and for the actions. The brief reports and flags; it does not message customers, change records or move money. Bookkeeping, tax and statutory accounts remain with your appointed professionals. Access is limited to the agreed sources and purpose; recipients, retention and revocation are agreed before anything is connected. An unusual number is a reason to look, not a finding.

Before the call

Think of the last decision that waited for numbers, or the last problem you found out about too late. Tell us where that information sat and who should have acted. That is the starting point.
